Do you need a decent chess board and pieces? How about two extra queens?
Maple and birch have also been used to make the durable board edged with dark mahogany. Hand-carved from acacia and boxwood, the pieces are polished and weighted German Staunton pieces recommended by the international chess federation FIDE for tournament use.
The extra queens come in handy when a pawn or someone else advances on the board to the opponent's end. You no longer need to use out-of-game pieces or come up with other creative solutions to represent a pawn-to-queen-promoted piece.
You can choose yourself whether you want a chessboard with or without coordinates. The coordinates make it easier, especially for beginner chess players, to follow the moves and understand the game better.
